WOMEN'S TENNIS FALLS TO FLORIDA A&M, 4-3

Temple took the doubles point as Danira Penic teamed with Jennifer Goeta to take first doubles, 8-6, and Lara Ercegovic and Jackie Sy won by default at third doubles. Penic won another point for the Owls with an easy 6-1, 6-1 win over FAMU's Charlana Brown. Ercegovic recorded the other TU point with a default win at sixth singles.
Laura Seiverling and Goeta each lost tough three-set singles matches at second and fifth, respectively. Lauren Verrall fell at third singles while Sy was bested in the straught sets at fourth singles.
Temple, now 1-7 on the season, will next play at Jacksonville on March 14. Florida A&M improves to 8-5.
