PHILADELPHIA - Senior Tiffany Pulaski scored a career-high 10 goals and added two assists to tie the all-time school record for most points in a game (12 points) as the Temple lacrosse team defeated Lafayette 23-4 on April 14 at Geasey Field. Sophomore Corey Leader was among several multi-point performers for the Owls with four goals and three assists. Senior Maire DesMarias, who had scored one career goal prior to this season added three goals. Allison Frengs rounded out the Temple scoring with a goal. Goalie Megan McLouth, who saw the majority of the time in the cage, had three saves. Lauren Costello also had three saves for the Owls.

Katie Curtin led Lafayette with two goals. Katie Layng had a goal and an assist for the Leopards. Goalie Jaclyn Kushner had 14 saves and 20 goals against while Stephanie Marcon added three saves while yielding three goals.

The game was uphill for Lafayette from the outset as Temple scored the first nine goals of the contest en route to a 14-2 halftime score. The Owls struck first in the second stanza as well and finished off the Leopards 9-2 to close out the game. Pulaski had three shots hit the post in the waning moments as she flirted with tying the school record for goals in a game (11).
