UNDERCLASSMEN FUEL 20-7 LACROSSE VICTORY OVER LA SALLE

PHILADELPHIA - Freshman Allison Frengs had a game-high seven points (6 goals, 1 assist) to lead the Temple lacrosse team (6-6, 3-1 A-10) to a 20-7 win at La Salle (3-8, 0-3 A-10) on April 16. The win, coupled with a 17-10 Duquesne win over George Washington gives the Owls a share of first place in a logjam atop the Atlantic 10 standings.

Sophomore Nicole Cataldo (4 goals), freshman Johna Capaldo (3 goals, 2 assists), sophomore Corey Leader (2 goals, 2 assists), senior Tiffany Pulaski (2 goals) and freshman Casey Cech (1 goal, 1 assist) were the other multi-point performers for Temple. Freshmen Kelly Yemm and Katie Yori each added a goal while junior Megan Condon added an assist to round out the Owls' scoring. Goalie Megan McLouth had nine saves for Temple.

Kristen Davis led La Salle with three goals. Rebecca Boudwin added two goals for the Explorers. Goalie Brittany Friedrich had a game-high 12 saves for La Salle.

The Owls continue their weekend road swing with a visit to Amherst, Massachusetts to take on UMass on Sunday, April 18. Game time is scheduled for 12:00 noon.
