LEADER EARNS ATLANTIC 10 LACROSSE PLAYER OF THE WEEK HONORS

PHILADELPHIA - Sophomore midfielder Corey Leader was named Atlantic 10 Lacrosse Player of the Week on April 26. Leader is the second Owl (Tiffany Pulaski on 4/19) to be so honored in as many weeks. This marks her first-ever Player of the Week honor.
Leader helped the Owls gain at least a share of the Atlantic 10 regular season title as they went 2-1 on the week. She scored four goals and added an assist in Temple's heartbreaking 11-10 loss to Delaware on April 21. Leader then tallied six goals and two assists in two conference road games to close out the regular season. At George Washington she scored two goals and had an assist as the Owls defeated the Colonials, 13-5 on April 23. Two days later, Leader notched a game-high four goals and added an assist in an 11-9 Temple win at Richmond. Leader finished the regular season ranked second on the team in goals (34) and points (53) while topping the team in assists (19) and points per game (3.78).
Temple (9-7, 6-1 A-10) will not play again until the Atlantic 10 Championships begin on May 7.
