5.11.04 | Women's Lacrosse
PHILADELPHIA - Tiffany Pulaski was named "Inside Lacrosse" Player of the Week on May 10. The senior midfielder for the Owls, who was also named Most Outstanding Player of the Championship, had a pair of five-goal games over the weekend to help Temple four-peat as the Atlantic-10 Champions. "Inside Lacrosse" is a magazine and accompanying website devoted to full-time coverage of the sport. Pulaski also earned the same honor from womenslacrosse.com.
The Owls earned an automatic NCAA Tournament bid with a 12-11 overtime win over top-seed Duquesne, who had defeated Temple earlier in the season. Pulaski's fifth goal sent the game into overtime.
Pulaski, an all-conference selection, leads the Owls with 69 points (58 goals, 11 assists). Earlier this year, she tied Temple's all-time single-game mark for points in a game with 12 (10 goals, 2 assists) in a 23-4 win over Lafayette on April 14. The Boyertown, PA native also has four game-winning goals this season.
