REPSHER NAMED A-10 ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

PHILADELPHIA -- Freshman first baseman Adrienne Repsher has been named the Atlantic 10 Conference Softball Rookie of the Week for the week ending May 2. Following a crucial eighth inning double against Dayton on Saturday afternoon, Repsher scored the Owls' game-winning run in the second game of a doubleheader. In the game, Repsher went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead all hitters.

A two-time A-10 Rookie of the Week honoree, Repsher leads the A-10 with 11 doubles this season. With the team's second-best batting average (.348), Repsher ranks second on the team in RBI (16) and third in hits (32) and home runs (3).

Repsher and the Temple softball team will be back in action on Sunday, May 9 at 12:00 p.m., when the Owls face St. Bonaventure in doubleheader action.
