SOFTBALL TO HOST CLINIC FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL GIRLS

AMBLER, PA -- The Temple University softball team will host an instructional clinic for the St. Alphonsus Middle School softball team on Tuesday, May 4 from 3:30 -- 5:30 p.m. at the Ambler Softball Field.

In the first community service event at the new Ambler Sports Complex, the Temple softball team will conduct throwing, catching, and position drills with the seventh and eighth grade girls. Temple's players will serve as coaches and mentors during the practice session.

Attending school across the street from Ambler Sports Complex, the St. Alphonsus softball team often watches the Temple's practices and attends the home games. By hosting the clinic, the Owls will express their appreciation to St. Alphonsus team for its support throughout the season.
