LACROSSE ENTERS ATLANTIC 10 CHAMPIONSHIP AS THE NUMBER TWO SEED

CORNING, N.Y. - Senior Tiffany Pulaski headlined a trio of Owls named to the 2004 Atlantic 10 Women's Lacrosse All-Conference Team on May 6, the eve of the Atlantic 10 Championship. Temple, which earned a share of the regular season conference title, is the number two seed and will face third seeded Massachusetts on May 7 in a game scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m.
Joining Pulaski on the all-conference team were sophomores Maria Carpenter and Nicole Catlado. Pulaski led the Owls in goals (48) and total points (58). Carpenter was Temple's top defender and led the team with 27 caused turnovers. Cataldo ranked third on the team in scoring with 35 points (28 goals, 7 assists).
Temple earned at least a share of the regular season title for the sixth consecutive season. The Owls have won the A-10 Championship in each of the last three seasons. Top seed Duquesne will face host St. Bonaventure, the number four seed on May 7 at 3:00 p.m. followed by the Owls and the Minutewomen. The winners will advance to the championship final on Saturday, May 8 at 3:00 p.m.
