TEMPLE FOOTBALL ENTERS SECOND WEEK OF TRAINING CAMP

PHILADELPHIA -- The Temple football team begins its second week of training camp with a 3:45 p.m. practice today in full pads at Geasey Field, located behind McGonigle Hall at 15th Street and Montgomery Avenue. Media availability with seventh-year Head Coach Bobby Wallace will take place 15 minutes prior to practice at 3:30 p.m.
Temple has overcome wet weather conditions through five practices thus far. The Cherry & White holds its first two-a-day session tomorrow (Tuesday, Aug. 17). The Owls have scheduled 12 practices before holding their first intrasquad scrimmage at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 21. The Owls annual media day is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. at the Edberg-Olson Hall Football Complex, located at 10th and Diamond Streets, on Tuesday, August 24.

The Owls kick-off their 106th season of collegiate football versus Virginia in a nationally televised (ESPN2) game at Lincoln Financial Field at 12 noon on Saturday, September 4. The Cavaliers are ranked 16th in the Associated Press and 19th in the ESPN/USA Today preseason polls.
Season tickets are on sale by calling the Temple Ticket Office at 215-204-5040 or visiting www.owlsports.com. Packages start as low as $60 per seat. Tickets for individual games are available via TicketMaster at www.ticketmaster.com or by calling 215-336-2000.
