TEMPLE SENIOR DB JUSTIN JOHNSON DECLARED ELIGIBLE
10.3.05 | Football
PHILADELPHIA - The Temple University Department of Athletics today announced that senior defensive back Justin Johnson has been declared academically eligible to compete for the remainder of the 2005 football season.
"We are extremely happy to have Justin back in the fold," said head coach Bobby Wallace. "He is a fine young man and a good football player. It is very encouraging to see Justin conclude his collegiate career competing on the field rather than watching from the sideline."
Johnson (6-1, 205) played in 10 games as a second-year junior in 2004 and made 20 tackles. He was the listed starter at the owl safety position on Temple's preseason 2005 depth chart.
Temple (0-5) hosts Maryland (3-2, 2-1 ACC) this Saturday in a 1:00 p.m. kick-off at Lincoln Financial Field.
