BRONX, NY -- Temple women's soccer, undefeated in its last five games, completed its 2005 regular season and conference schedules with a 1-1 tie against Atlantic 10 Conference rival Fordham on Sunday at Jack Coffey Field. Charisma Wright scored the game-tying goal with just over five minutes left in regulation. With the tie,
The Rams found the net at 17:04, recording the only goal of the first half. Katie Sanchez, who scored her sixth goal of the year, grabbed a loose ball left, carried it down the field, and beat Temple goalkeeper Tiffany Kasunich on the ground from 15 yards out.
The game would remain a 1-0 contest until
Stephanie Vietry, Samantha Vietey, Jaclyn Conn and Kate Lamplugh were playing in her final game for the Cherry and White. Each player was in the starting line up today. These women were important team members and each will be missed for their spirit and determination.
