WOMEN'S TENNIS CONCLUDES SEASON AT PENN STATE CLASSIC

STATE COLLEGE, PA -- Temple won four of its top six singles matches against West Virginia to highlight Day Two of the Penn State Fall Classic Saturday. The non-scoring tournament concludes the Owls fall season.
Senior Ana Maslesa and junior Yuri Kurashima won their singles matches at the first and second slots respectively. Maslesa defeated WVU's Monica Lyskawa, 7-5, 6-2, while Kurashima topped the Mountaineers' Stacey Percival, 7-6 (4), 6-1. Sophomore Sharanya Pattabi took WVU's Kelly Walsh in straight sets, 7-5, 6-2 at the fourth position while freshman Felicia Frazier posted a hard-fought 7-5, 7-5, win over Raynie Theis at the fifth slot.
Temple lost all three doubles matches to Penn State in the Mock Duals which featured competition among three teams.
