CONWAY, SC -- Spring Break started off on the wrong foot for the Temple women's tennis team as the Owls dropped their first match of their South Carolina trip, 6-1, to Coastal Carolina. Temple falls to 1-4 on the season while Coastal Carolina improves to 7-4.
Junior Ana Maslesa upped her singles mark to 4-0 in the spring campaign, topping Marie Matrka, 6-3, 4-6, 10-5, at first singles. That was the Cherry and White's lone point in the match.
The Owls next play at Charleston Southern on Thursday (noon).
