DAWN STALEY AND TEAM HONORED AT HARLEM GLOBETROTTERS GAME AT THE LIACOURAS CENTER

PHILADELPHIA- The world-famous Harlem Globetrotters will honor Temple Women's Basketball Head Coach Dawn Staley and the Owls with a game ball at halftime of Saturday's Globetrotters vs. New York Nationals game. Dawn Staley also receives a special invitation to sit on the Globetrotters bench for second half of game.
The Lady Owls are winners of 24 consecutive games and have clinched back-to-back Atlantic 10 Championships.
Dawn Staley, a three-time Olympic Gold medalist, is credited with bringing the Owls to national prominence. The team, currently ranked number 15 in the nation, will be playing in the upcoming NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament.
The Harlem Globetrotters take on the New York Nationals at the Liacouras Center on Saturday, March 12 at 2 p.m. and at the Wachovia Center on Sunday, March 13 at 1 p.m. and 5:30 p.m
