Samantha Sepulveda and Shelley Boyle both scored twice for UMass, while Kerri Connerty dished a team high two assists.
UMass began the scoring early in the contest when Kerri Connerty found Lindsay Cassell for Cassell's 18th goal of the season at 26:17. After several unsuccessful attempts, including a post shot that actually caused the goal cage to collapse, Glavin scored the equalizer at 16:36 after taking a pass from Johna Capaldo. The Minutewomen did not waste any time taking back the lead, as they scored just nine seconds later. Kathleen Typadis caught the draw and sprinted down the field, blasting a shot past TU goalie Megan McLouth at 16:37. That would be the last time that UMass would lead however, as the Owls went on to score four straight goals to take the lead into halftime. Berkley Summerlin found Frengs for the tying goal at 11:53. Condon scored her sixth goal of the season at 7:07 and then earned helpers on Frengs and Glavin's subsequent goals to give
Casey Cech continued the TU scoring run early in the second half, converting a free position shot after just 35 seconds had ticked off the clock. Frengs struck again at 26:03 before Sepulveda ended the Owl scoring run at 22:24. Cassell found a cutting Sepulveda for the Minutewomen's third goal of the game. Glavin struck again at 16:41 for an
