REPSHER NAMED TO ACADEMIC ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM

PHILADELPHIA -- Sophomore Adrienne Repsher was named to the Atlantic 10 Academic All-Conference Softball Team at the league's annual awards banquet.  Repsher, an Elementary Education major from Nazareth, Pa., had a solid year on the diamond as well, batting .242 with seven doubles, three home runs and 17 RBI.

Regular season A-10 champion Fordham University swept the major softball awards with junior outfielder Katie Davis and sophomore teammate Sara Kinney being named the 2005 Atlantic 10 softball Player and Pitcher of the Year, respectively, in voting conducted among the Conference's head coaches. In that same vote, Fordham's shortstop Laura Klaiber was tabbed Rookie of the Year and Bridget Orchard was named Coach of the Year.

Additionally, senior pitcher Barb LaFogg of Massachusetts was named Student-Athlete of the Year in voting among the Conference's sports information directors.
