CATALDO NAMED TO IWLCA NATIONAL HONOR ROLL

Junior Nicole Cataldo has been recognized by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) for her academic prowess during the spring 2005 women's lacrosse season. Cataldo is one of 152 student athletes of junior or senior standing that maintained at least a 3.2 grade point average while playing varsity lacrosse in the spring. The junior boasted a 3.5 grade point average while majoring in kinesiology.Cataldo started all 16 games as a defender for the Owls this season. Leading the team in groundballs with 39, she also netted one goal and had one assist for two points. Cataldo also added eight caused turnovers to her statistical tally.
Temple, who captured its seventh straight A-10 regular season title, finished the season with a 10-7 overall record and a 6-1 mark in A-10 play.
