"I think camp has gone well so far," said Wallace before Friday's afternoon practice. "We have quite a few people banged-up right now, which is typical this time of year. One morning we were without 30 players at practice because of injuries, but nothing that would keep them from playing in a game. It's just part of football.
"I think our receivers have done well thus far. That area was kind of a question mark in terms of experience coming into this season. We have some depth there. Coach Goldman has them working real hard and doing some good things."
The Owls will begin tomorrow's practice with an individual period before a punting session. A series of 20-25 play scrimmages will then take place, separated by kickoff drills. In total, the team intends to have 80-100 plays of offense versus defense scrimmage.
Friends and family of Temple Football are welcome to attend tomorrow's scrimmage. Temple's daily football practices are open to the media with prior arrangements through the Department of Sports Media Relations but are closed to the general public.
