FOOTBALL SEASON OPENER AT ARIZONA STATE TO BE BROADCAST BY FOX SPORTS NET ARIZONA

Temple football's season opener at Arizona State next Thurday evening (September 1, 10:00 p.m. Eastern) will be broadcast by Fox Sports Net Arizona. The broadcast increases the number of live televised contests this season to eight, the most for Temple football since 2000 (10) and the second most in program history.Fox Sports Net Arizona is available to Temple fans in the Delaware Valley who have the requisite cable or satellite package. Comcast Digital Cable subscribers have the option of including the channel via a Fox College Sports digital tier package. On DirectTV, Fox Sports Net Arizona is available throughout the country via a "Sports Pack" option. On the Dish Network, Fox Sports Net Arizona is available nationally through the "Multi-Regional Sports Package."
Trey Bender will provide the play-by-play and former Dallas Cowboys signal-caller Danny White will do the color commentary for the telecast. The Sun Devils are ranked No. 18 in the USA Today preseason coaches poll and are No. 20 in the preseason Associated Press poll.
