WOMEN'S SOCCER FALLS TO SETON HALL, 1-0

, NJ - Sheri Ferron's goal in the 56th minute lifted Seton Hall to a 1-0 win over visiting Temple in women's soccer action Friday afternoon. Freshman Tiffany Kasunich had a stellar performance in goal for the Owls making 10 saves, while facing 24 shots.


On the scoring play, Seton Hall junior Meagan Dewan took a shot from 18 yards out which was denied by Kasunich on an excellent diving save. Ferron, however, was there for the rebound and finished it for the lone score in the contest.  The Pirates (2-1-1) outshot Temple, 24-4, and held a 5-1 advantage in corner kicks.

Temple (0-2-0) returns to the pitch on Monday against the Farleigh Dickinson Devils in Madison, NJ. Game time is 12:00 PM.
