PHILADELPHIA - Fifty Temple University student-athletes were named to the Atlantic 10 Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll for the Fall 2005 semester, announced Commissioner Linda Bruno. The A-10 Honor Roll recognizes each student-athlete in the Atlantic 10 with a 3.5 grade point average or better for the semester.
"It is an honor to recognize these student-athletes who truly exemplify what the college experience is all about," says Bruno. "Their commitment to excellence on and off the playing field is inspiring and should serve as an example to all."
"This is a tribute to the support system we have in place at Temple University for our student-athletes," said Temple Director of Athletics Bill Bradshaw. "We pride ourselves in always keeping the 'student' component first in what we do here."
