PHILADELPHIA-After returning the Temple women's lacrosse team to national prominance last season, Jenny Ulehla and her Temple Owls are ranked #20 in a preseason poll conducted by Inside Lacrosse Magazine. The Owls were ranked as high as #16 last season, entering the Top 20 polls for the first time since 2002.

Temple (10-7) was picked to finish fourth in the A-10 by a vote of the Conference coaches last season but rebounded to capture its seventh straight A-10 regular season title and a 6-1 mark in A-10 play.  This year, Temple is picked to finish first.

Junior Alison Frengs was named the 2005 Atlantic 10 Offensive Player of the Year. Frengs was also named to the Conference's First Team along with teammate Patty Glavin. The two also garnered IWLCA/US Lacrosse Regional All-American honors.  Junior Casey Cech and sophomore Whitney Richards were voted to the Atlantic 10 All-Championship Team while Glavin was voted to her second straight A-10 All-Championship Team.

Temple begins the season at UNC on February 26.
