Game Against Penn State Set for 3:30 P.M. Kick-Off on ESPN Regional

PHILADELPHIA - ESPN Regional will televise the Penn State-Temple football game on Saturday, November 11 at 3:30 p.m. ET from Beaver Stadium in University Park, Pa. The contest will be televised to a regionally syndicated audience. In the Philadelphia market, WPVI-TV6 will carry the game while FSN Pittsburgh, YES (New York) and MASN (Baltimore) are among the other outlets broadcasting the contest.
The Owls and Nittany Lions will be meeting for the 36th time in the series that dates back to 1931, with Penn State holding a 31-3-1 advantage. The teams are also slated to meet November 10, 2007 at Lincoln Financial Field.
Owls' first-year head coach Al Golden, before serving as Penn State's linebackers coach during the 2000 season, was a team captain and four-year letterwinner for the Nittany Lions under head coach Joe Paterno. Golden shared captain responsibilities during the 1990-91 season with Owls' defensive coordinator Mark D'Onofrio. In addition, Temple's defensive line coach, Matt Rhule (1994-97), and running backs coach, Jeff Nixon (1995-96), each played their collegiate ball in Happy Valley.
