Lacrosse to Kick Off Fall Schedule on October 14

First-year Head Coach Bonnie Rosen has announced that the Temple women's lacrosse team will begin its fall season on Saturday, October 14 at the Drexel Tournament.

The Owls, who return 17 letterwinners from last year's 10-8 squad, will take on Columbia, Penn and Drexel in October 14's Drexel Tournament.  On Sunday, October 15, Temple travels to Towson to compete against Loyola, Rutgers and Towson in a tournament hosted by the Tigers.  TU's final tournament of the season pits it against Notre Dame, University of North Carolina and defending national champion Northwestern on October 22 at Princeton University. 

Temple hosts Yale and former Temple standout Mandee Moore O'Leary on Saturday, October 28 to wrap up the 2006 Fall season.
