PHILADELPHIA, PA -- Temple head football coach Al Golden will be an in-studio guest for the entirety of this Saturday's (Feb. 18) "High School Round-Up" show on WPEN Sports Talk 950 AM from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon. The show will be devoted to the process of recruiting student-athletes by college football programs and will be co-hosted by Joe DeCamara and Carl Cherkin.
West Catholic Athletic Director Joe Hasson will be in studio to offer a high school perspective. Rutgers head coach Greg Schiano, Villanova head coach Andy Talley and a member of the Penn State football staff are also scheduled to call in to participate.
Temple signed 24 prospects to national letters of intent on February 1. The class, which boasted 15 team captains, was comprised of 12 student-athletes that played their high school football in the state of New Jersey. The Owls are scheduled to begin spring practice on Monday, March 27.
