PRINCETON, NJ - The Temple women's tennis team was shut out 7-0 by a strong Princeton squad at the Tigers; Jadwin Gym Sunday morning. It was the second straight loss for the Owls, who fell to 5-3 on the season. Princeton improved to 4-2.
Second-year head coach Traci Green's Owls played with just four players due to injuries. Junior Barbara Oria Boer played second doubles, but missed her singles match due to injury, joining Ana Maslesa, who has been sidelined since Monday with a broken arm.
Freshman Felicia Frazier had the most competitive match of the day for Temple, dropping her fourth singles match, 7-5, 6-4, to Christine Kansky. Yuri Kurashima and Sharanya Pattabi fell in a tightly-contested number one doubles match, 8-6.
Temple next travels to Columbia for a Friday match (2:00 p.m.).
