WOMEN'S TENNIS FALLS TO DUQUESNE, 4-3

PHILADELPHIA -- The Temple women's tennis team dropped a hard-fought 4-3 match to Atlantic 10 Conference rival Duquesne Saturday evening at the Arthur Ashe Tennis Center. The Owls fall to 7-7 on the season while the Dukes improve to 4-5.
Junior Yuri Kurashima continued her fine play at first singles with a 6-1, 6-2 win over Johnna Bezjak. Kurashima also teamed with sophomore Sharanya Pattabi for a 8-6 at first doubles. Freshman Felicia Frazier and junior Barbara Oria Boer won their matches at fourth and fifth singles for the Owls other two points.
Temple next plays Providence and St. Peter's in Jersey City, N.J. on Sunday.
