WOMEN'S TENNIS DROPS 5-2 MATCH AT CORNELL

ITHACA, NY - The injury-depleted Temple women's tennis team dropped its fourth straight match Saturday afternoon, falling 5-2 at Cornell. The Owls are now 5-5 on the season while the Big Red improved to 4-1.
Freshman Felicia Frazier and junior Barbara Oria Boer won for the Owls at third and fifth singles. Junior Yuri Kurashima and sophomore Sharanya Pattabi won at first doubles, 9-7. Kurashima also dropped a hard-fought match at second singles, losing her first set in a tie-breaker to Kasia Preneta.
Temple next plays UMBC at Penn on March 7.
