TEMPLE-BUFFALO FOOTBALL GAME TO AIR ON CN8

PHILADELPHIA -- The Al Golden Era of Temple Football officially kicks off on Thursday, August 31 (7:00 p.m.) when the Owls travel to Buffalo for their season opener against the Bulls. Temple fans that can not make the trip to Western New York will be able to watch all the action live on CN8, one of four Temple games to be televised during the 2006 season.
"We are excited that we have been able to work with CN8 to ensure that our fans will be able to view the opening of The Golden Era of Temple Football," said Temple University Director of Athletics Bill Bradshaw.
ESPNU will televise Temple's other Thursday night game, an October 12 date against Clemson (7:30 p.m.) held at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, N.C. The Owls' game on October 21 at Northern Illinois (3:00 p.m.) will be televised live by Comcast SportsNet while the season finale at Navy (12:30 p.m.) on November 18 will be televised nationally by CSTV.
The Cherry & White will have its annual media day (4:00 p.m.) and inaugural Fan Fest (5-7:00 p.m.) on Wednesday, August 23, at Lincoln Financial Field.
