Temple Falls Short At Fordham, 3-1

Bronx, NY- Charisma Wright tallied her team leading fourth goal of the season, but Temple fell short to A-10 rival Forham 3-1 today at Jack Coffey Field. With the loss, Temple falls to 5-5-3 (1-3-1 in the A-10) and Fordham improves to 5-5-3 and stays undefeated in the A-10 with a record of 2-0-2.
The Owls struggled offensively throughout the game only registering one shot by Liz Roper and the goal by Wright in the 51st minute.
The Rams would be strong offensively all game registering seven shots on goal. Kim Boulos had a pair of goals, a header in the 28th minute and one in the 88th minute. Danielle Ingram also added a goal in the 63rd minute off of a shot inside the box.
Owls' goalkeeper Kara Williams had four saves on the day while Rams goalkeeper Jen Byer had zero.
The Owls have now lost their last three out of four games and will look to get back on track as they play at LaSalle, this Sunday, at 1 p.m.
