Ambler, PA - The Temple women's soccer team (5-7-3, 1-5-1 in A-10) lost to Duquesne (8-5, 5-2 in A-10) 4-0 amidst a torrential downpour at Ambler Field on Friday. Three goals in the last five minutes of the first half solidified the victory as conditions in the second half were almost unplayable.

The scoring started with Shelley Esposito finishing a cross from the right corner by Audra Mathews. Both teams seemed evenly matched until Samantha Kaiser put two excellent goals into the back of the net with Mathews getting another assist. Jenna Farneti added the Dukes fourth goal with only 20 seconds to play in the first half.

Freshman Kara Williams and junior Tiffany Kasunich shared goalkeeping duties for the Owls with Kasunich playing the last 45 minutes, each recording one save.

Temple will host St. Bonaventure at Ambler Field, this Sunday, at noon for Senior Day.
