Women's Soccer Falls Short On Senior Day, 3-0

Ambler, PA - The Temple women's soccer team (5-8-3, 1-6-1 A-10) lost to St. Bonaventure (5-9-2, 2-5-1 A-10) 3-0 on Sunday at Ambler Field. Despite outshooting the Bonnies 10-9 the Owls were unable to come away with the victory.
Marilyn Wargo scored first for St. Bonaventure in the 17th minute off of a nice pass from Courtney Bosse, who added another assist later in the game. Anna Cunningham scored two goals in the last 10 minutes to seal the victory for the Bonnies.
Wendy Halina led the Owl attack with two shots after starting the game on defense. The Owls were unable to beat SBU goalieAmanda Prestigiacomo, who had four saves.
Temple goalkeeper Kara Williams had two saves in the loss.
The Owls will start their three game road trip at George Washington, this Friday, at noon.
