PHILADELPHIA - Temple head coach Al Golden and DT Terrance Knighton (Windsor, Conn.) will appear on tonight's episode of Monday Night Live.
Hosted by Michael Barkann and former Eagles Hugh Douglas and Ike Reese, Monday Night Live airs every Monday on Comcast SportsNet at 7 p.m. This one-hour variety "sports-tainment" program features professional athletes, coaches, and a live band, The Quake. The show is taped live, on location, at Chickie's and Pete's Restaurant in South Philadelphia. Temple fans are encouraged to attend tonight's show.
Also scheduled to appear on the show this evening are Eagles' LB Takeo Spikes and Flyers' RW Mike Knuble.
In its second season under Golden, Temple captured its third consecutive win in Mid-American play on Saturday with a 24-17 victory over Miami (OH). The third consecutive win is the Owls' first since 1990.
Riding a three-game winning streak, Temple (3-5, 3-2 MAC) has a bye this week. The Owls return to action on Friday, Nov. 2 at Ohio. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
