PHILADELPHIA - The Temple Athletic Department is now selling Breast Cancer Awareness t-shirts during the month of October. The proceeds will go to "Susan G. Komen for the Cure".
Shirts are available in black or pink (sizes small through x-large) for only $10 and can be purchased at all TU home athletic events in October. On non-game days, shirts are available for purchase at the Temple Athletic Department, located on the 4th floor of 1700 North Broad Street.
In addition, Temple Athletics will donate a portion of the ticket proceeds from the Miami (OH) football game on Oct. 20 to "Susan G. Komen for the Cure". Aiding in this effort are the Temple football coaches' wives, spearheaded by Kelly Golden, wife of head football coach Al Golden.
TU Athletics supports the fight against breast cancer and hopes to raise as much money as possible. The money raised during the month of October will be presented in the form of a check to "Susan G. Komen for the Cure" at the Penn State game on Nov. 10.
