• Temple Game Captains: #93 RE Leyon Azubuike (defense), #59 C Alex Derenthal (offense), #9 CB Anthony Ferla (defense), and #37 DB Abioye Oyeyemi (special teams).

• Carrying flags for Temple today were #17 LB Omar McDonnaugh-Hales, #92 DT Terrance Knighton, and #73 OT Devin Tyler.

• R-junior C Alex Derenthal has started 35 consecutive games.

• Redshirt sophomore DB Dominique Harris' pass break-up in the first quarter, preventing a Bronco touchdown, was the sixth of his career. He also had his second career forced fumble in the third quarter.

• Junior DT Terrance Knighton's blocked PAT in the second quarter was a career first. He later blocked WMU's field goal attempt at the end of the second quarter. He also had a career-high eight solo tackles.

• Freshman LB Amara Kamara's second quarter interception was the first of his career. His five solo tackles tied his career high.

• Freshman DB Jamal Schulters' 45-yard kick return in the third was a career long. Leading all TU defenders with 10 tackles, he had a career-high seven solo tackles.

• Freshman DB Jaiquawn Jarrett's nine solo tackles were a career high.

• Redshirt junior LB Omar McDonnaugh-Hales had a career-high six solo tackles.

• Freshman punter Jeff Wathne made a career-high eight punts during the game.

• Sophomore QB Vaughn Charlton made his first career punt, a 58 yarder.

• Sixteen freshmen, including 15 true freshmen, saw action in today's game.

• For the fourth time this season, a season-high seven true freshmen (TE Matt Balasavage, WR Michael Campbell, RG Derek Dennis, DB Jaiquawn Jarrett, OLB Amara Kamara, RB Daryl Robinson, CB Jamal Schulters) started the game.

• Today's game was the sixth meeting between Temple and Western Michigan. The Broncos hold a 6-0 series advantage.
