Softball Holds Winter Girls Softball Camp In December

PHILADELPHIA- The Temple softball staff will be holding a girls softball camp on December 27-30, 2007. The camp will take place on the Temple University's main campus in downtown Philadelphia. McGonigle Arena and the Temple Sports Pavilion will be utilized for the camp. This camp will teach and reinforce the development of basic skills in a challenging yet fun environment. Throwing, fielding, hitting, baserunning, leadership, and team play will be emphasized. The camp will also introduce strategy and team concepts throughout the camp. It will also be designed to introduce players to the possibility of playing softball at the collegiate level and furthering your softball career in college. The coaching staff will have optional off-field sessions on strength and conditioning, recruiting, and NCAA rules.
