• Carrying flags for Temple tonight were #66 OT Andre Douglas, #29 DB Georg Coleman, and #34 TB Jason Harper. • Sophomore QB Vaughn Charlton started his first game of the season tonight. It is his fourth career start at QB. He made a career-high 17 completions, a career-high 25 attempts, and passed for a career-high 161 yards.
• R-junior C Alex Derenthal has started 32 consecutive games.
• Junior WR Bruce Francis has made a reception in 25 consecutive games. Tonight he made a career-high eight receptions.
• For the second time this season, WR Dy'Onne Crudup took snaps at QB. A former high school QB, he had five snaps in the first half. Crudup rushed a career-high three times for a career-high 14 yards.
• Eighteen freshmen, including 16 true freshmen, saw action in tonight's game.
• Six true freshmen (RE Morris Blueford, RG Derek Dennis, DB Jaiquawn Jarrett, OLB Amara Kamara, LG Colin Madison, CB Jamal Schulters) started tonight's game.
