BETHLEHEM, PA - The Temple women's tennis team bounced back from its first loss of the season, defeating host Lehigh, 7-0, Monday afternoon at the Lewis Tennis Center. The Owls improve to 3-1 on the season while Lehigh falls 1-2.
"We we able to get off to a fast start and then mainatined our focus," said third-year head coach Traci Green.
Senior Yuri Kurashima was the only player that had to battle to win her match. The Owl co-captain went three sets before topping Gwen Dwyer, 6-2, 4-6 (10-4) at first singles.
Temple next travels to New Jersey Tech for a Saturday evening match (7:00 p.m,).
