Owls Improve to 5-1 With Win Over Army

WEST POINT, NY - The Temple University women's tennis team traveled to West Point on Friday, defeating Army 4-3. The Owls improve to 5-1 on the season.
At first singles, senior Yuri Kurashima continued her winning ways, defeating Niki Flach, 1-6, 6-4, 6-3. With the victory, Kurashima improves to 4-1 in the spring campaign. Christine Clermont and Felicia Frazier posted wins at fifth and sixth singles, respectively.
Temple swept Army in doubles play earning the final point for the victory, 4-3.
The Owls will remain in West Point, NY, competing against Cornell and Fairleigh Dickinson on Saturday, February 24.
