Pavlos Stephanides Named A-10 Rookie of the Week

PHILADELPHIA - Temple freshman Pavlos Stephanides has been named the Atlantic 10 Conference Men's Tennis Rookie of the Week for the week ending February 4. Stephanides went unbeaten on the week, notching two singles wins and one doubles win on the week.
A native of Nea Makri, Greece (Bellport (NY) HS), Stephanides posted victories at fourth singles against St. Francis (NY) and Swarthmore. He also teamed with Robert Spencer for a win at third doubles at Swarthmore.
The Temple men's tennis team (3-2) next plays at Carnegie Mellon on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
