Rukavyshnykova Earns A-10 Women's Tennis Honors for the Second-Straight Week

PHILADELPHIA, PA - Temple University's Anastasiia Rukavyshnykova was named the Atlantic 10 Women's Tennis Rookie of the Week for the second consecutive week after a successful run in both singles and doubles. The Owls went 1-0 on the week, improving to 10-2 on the season.

Anastasiia Rukavyshnykova, a freshman from Kiev, Ukraine, beat Duquesne's Rachel McGowan in three sets, 6-1, 4-6, 6-2, at fourth singles as the Owls went on to beat the Dukes, 6-1. Rukavyshnykova also paired up with senior Sharanya Pattabi at the third doubles position for the Owls only doubles victory of the match, 8-4.

Rukavyshnykova and the Owls return to action on Thursday, March 29th at Princeton.
