PHILADELPHIA - The Temple women's tennis team earned its fourth-straight win of the season with a 6-1 victory over Fordham in Atlantic 10 women's tennis action Saturday afternoon. The Owls improve to 14-3 on the season while the Rams fall to 4-6.

In doubles action, Yuri Kurashima and Christine Clermont paired up for an 8-6 victory at the No. 1 spot, and Radka Ferancova and Dina Senkina blanked their opponents, 8-0, at the second position. Anastasiia Rukavyshnykova and Sharanya Pattabi rounded out doubles action, clinching an 8-0 victory at the No. 3 spot to secure the Owl sweep and the doubles point.

In singles action, the Owls swept the No. 2-6 spots, with Kurashima falling after a hard fought battle at first singles to Dominique Liquori. Senkina forced Ellenoira Featherston into a third set where she clinched the victory at the No. 2 spot, 1-6, 6-2, 10-2. Ferancova, Clermont and Pattabi defeated their opponents in straight sets at third, fourth and fifth singles, respectively.

Temple (14-3) next hosts A-10 rival La Salle on Monday, April 16th at the TU Pavilion (3:30 p.m.).
