PHILADELPHIA - For the second consecutive week, senior Adrienne Repsher (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth) has been named the Atlantic 10 Softball Player of the Week. The left-hander batted .500 (8-for-16) with four home runs, six RBI and 10 runs scored as the Owls posted a 4-2 mark in conference play.

In a two-game sweep of Saint Joseph's on Wednesday, April 18, Repsher homered once in game one then once more in game two. She drove in three runs while collecting three hits and scoring three runs as the Owls blanked the Hawks in both contests. Repsher slammed her third home run of the week off Massachusetts' ace Brandice Balschmiter in a 5-1 loss on Friday, April 20.

In Temple's two-game sweep of Rhode Island on Sunday, April 22, Repsher was a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate with six runs scored and two RBI. Her third inning homerun in game two, to straight-away centerfield, was one-half of a back-to-back sequence with senior Jessica Rohn.

The sure-handed first baseman has also yet to commit an error this season.

Repsher enters the week of play ranked first among all A-10 players with a .464 batting clip and 13 home runs. Her 35 runs batted-in, and 36 runs scored, are good for third-best in the league.

Temple (13-16, 7-5) resumes action Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. in its final home game of the season against Rider.
