Frengs Named Women's Lacrosse Atlantic 10 Co-Player Of The Week

PHILADELPHIA- After leading Temple to two Atlantic 10 wins over the weekend, senior captain Allison Frengs has been named the A-10 Co-Player of the Week for the week ending April 8.
Frengs netted four goals, including a game-winner, to lead Temple to a 2-0 week and stay undefeated in A-10 play. In Friday's 11-10 win over Massachusetts, the senior netted the game-winning goal with just five seconds remaining to snap the Owls' three-game losing skid and allow them to begin Conference play with a win. Against Richmond on Apr. 8, she scored three goals, including two in a comeback run that tied the game, to give TU its first win over the Spiders since April 25, 2004.
The Collingswood, N.J. native leads the Owls in scoring with 24 goals and four assists.
