Temple Football Forward To Debut August 29

PHILADELPHIA - Temple Football Forward, a bi-monthly television program, debuts on Comcast SportsNet on Wednesday, August 29 at 11:00 p.m. The program, which will provide fans in the Delaware Valley with an in-depth look at Temple football through the eyes of second-year head coach Al Golden, will air six episodes throughout the course of the 2007 season. It will be taped in front of a live audience the Tuesday prior to each episode at The Draught Horse, 1431 Cecil B. Moore Avenue, with the first taping scheduled for August 28 at 8:30 p.m.
"We look forward to expanding the show this season, not only in the number of episodes, but also in the number of student-athletes we profile," Golden said. "We want to give fans of Temple football an inside look into the team, both on and off the field."
The debut show will also air on August 31 at 4:00 p.m. on Comcast SportsNet and can also be accessed throughout the month by Comcast's digital cable subscribers via its OnDemand service.
Temple Football Forward is produced by Ken Selinger of CCI Communications in West Chester, Pa. The show is hosted by Harry Donahue, the play-by-play voice of both Temple football and men's basketball. Julie Gargotta, a senior in Temple's School of Broadcast, Telecommunications and Mass Media and a member of the Diamond Gems Dance Team, joins the show this season as a reporter.
