Halina Named Atlantic 10 Co-Player Of The Week

PHILADELPHIA -. Temple junior Wendy Halina has been named the Atlantic 10 Conference Co-Player of the Week, the league announced Monday. This is the first conference honor Halina has been awarded.
Halina scored two goals and notched an assist in two wins this past weekend for Temple. In Friday's win over Cleveland State, she scored one of the eight goals. In Sunday's 2-1 win against Drexel, Halina tallied the first goal and the game winning assist. The Owls are 3-0-1, their best start since the 1992 season. Halina has three goals and an assist on the season.
The Cherry and White return to action at home on September 14 against Marist.
