Softball Hosts Fall Ball Game and Alumni Event In October

PHILADELPHIA- Parents and Family Weekend will be held on October 6, 2007. The Temple Softball team will be hosting it's only home fall ball and alumni game on that date. The schedule for games will begin with a double header at 12:00 pm.
"The past is what made us who we are today," said head coach Casey Dickson. "I'm hoping our current players can learn about the past from our alumni. Some alumni haven't played on the `new' field and this fall we want that experience to happen because the alumni helped get this field built."
Temple will play the first game of the day against Wagner. Following the first game the Cherry and White will take on past alumni to celebrate the parents and family weekend.
New graduate assistant coach and past alumni Lynsey Grace stated in anticipation of the alumni game that "you are never too old to hang up your cleats."
The games will be played at Temple Ambler's Sports Complex.
