AMBLER, PA - The Temple women's soccer team took on city rival La Salle Friday afternoon at Ambler Sports Complex. Midfielder Jenna Rankin scored in the 83rd minute to force overtime and help the Owls record their third tie in Atlantic 10 play. The Cherry and White improve to 2-8-4, 0-3-3 in the A-10, and the Explorers move to 5-7-3, 1-3-2.
The Explorers broke the scoreless tie early in the first half when Traci Depasquale netted on a crossing pass from Heather Steadman. The Owls could not find an answer, even though they posted five shots and two shots on goal.

In the 83rd minute, it was Kelly Diviny who found Jenna Rankin open for the game-tying goal. The tally was Rankin's first goal of the season.
Both teams had their chances in overtime, with the Owls posting one shot in each period. Williams came up big again, making three saves. Williams stopped seven shots on the day.
