Former Lacrosse Standout Cummings-Danson To Be Inducted Into Canadian Lacrosse Hall Of Fame

New Westminster, BC- Former Temple women's lacrosse standout Gail Cummings-Danson will be inducted into the Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame, as announced by the organization. A native of Huntsville, Ontario, Cummings Danson joins nine other individuals and teams to comprise the Class of 2008.
Cummings-Danson led Temple to the 1988 National Championship and graduated as the Owls all-time leading scorer with 283 goals, 89 assists and 372 points. She was a member of the Canadian National Team from 1982-1989 and the US Women's National Team from 1990-93, winning the World Cup title in 1993. A 2000 Temple Hall of Fame inductee, Cummings-Danson is also a member of the US Lacrosse and OLA Hall of Fames. She is currently the Director of Athletics at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.
The formal induction banquet and ceremonies will be held in November in Burnaby, British Columbia.
