Volleyball Drops 3-1 Contest At Charlotte

CHARLOTTE-Charlotte defeated the visiting Temple volleyball team, 3-1 (25-27, 21-25, 25-22, 21-25), on Friday night in A-10 volleyball action. Yun Yi Zhang had seven kills to lead the Owls, who drop to 15-12, 6-6 in the A-10. Charlotte improves to 11-17, 2-10 in the Conference.
Jackie Morrison dished 12 assists and Ariel Pierre had a team-high five digs. Both teams could not get much of an offense going, with each squad earning just 15 total team kills. The contest featured 46 ties throughout the 1 hour, 51 minute match.
Temple finishes regular season conference play with a match at A-10 East leader George Washington on Sunday at 2 p.m.
